How to convert any number into word Indian Rupees in Excel

Here is an Excel Addin available for download which can be used to convert numbers into words. In excel sheet you enter data (amount) in figure and with a single command you will get the amount converted into words. E.g. you enter 123 and you shall get Rupees One Hundred Twenty Three Only. This addin may be very handy for various calculation in excel sheet and prepare report. I am using it for more than 3 years. I think, I should share it with you.

Step 1: Download SureshAddin.xla
Step 2: Go to Control Panel and Open Folder Options. In View tab Click Show hidden files, folders and drives and click OK

Step 3: Windows XP Users: Go to My documents -> Application Data -> Microsoft -> Addins and paste here the downloaded SureshAddin.

Windows 7 Users: Go to User’s Documents -> AppData -> Roaming -> Microsoft -> Addins and paste here the downloaded SureshAddin.

Step 4: Now Open Microsoft Office Excel from Start Menu and click the following button as highlighted in RED.

Step 5: A Window will appear as follows. Click Addins, then Click Go button.

Step 6: A window will appear as follows. Tick Sureshs Addins and click OK

Congratulations! You just installed Suresh Addin in your Office Excel.
How to Use?

There are 3 (three) functions are available in this addin.
i) rswords
ii) inr
iii) revinr
